Pipe clamps is designed to be used on any length

The clamps are brackets for piping on machinery, on supporting structures and on the structure. The term Bride is often used for pipe and mast clamps in the Swiss area as well. For tight pipe connections, the Briden are used and they have nothing to do with the pipe brackets.

What is to be considered for pipe clamps?

pipe_clampsGenerally there are many different designs. A distinction must be made between the one-piece and two-piece pipe clamps in the TGA area. TGA stands for technical building equipment. The pipe clamps can be made of plastic, stainless steel or steel. For pipe clamps, the type of material always depends on the material of the pipe. The steel models are available as uninsulated and soundproofed versions. The sound insulation is used for structure-borne sound decoupling and in many cases it consists of rubber. The pipe clamps usually provide a connection thread on the lower part if they are made of pressed sheet steel. The threads are then fixed with the help of the threaded rod or the threaded pin. The common sizes are M12, M10 and also M8. Graduated, many of the nuts often have two thread sizes. On one side there is the hooking hinge and so they come out opposite with the clamping screw. This can be done captive for ease of assembly, slide into the slot of the clamp shell and engage in a recess at the slot end.

Important information about the pipe clamps

The pipe clamps are suitable for the attachment of heavy, medium and light pipes made of different materials. There are always suitable models without and with sound insulation. Care is taken for perfect fixing of pipe diameters from 8 to 508 centimeters. There are models for a variety of conductive media and for different thread types. Additional safety can be guaranteed by noise protection and fire protection tests. There are also the tube snap clips, which are usually referred to as clamps. The models are made of plastic and the tubes are then covered by just over 180 degrees of the circumference. The models are predominantly used during assembly of the electric cables within the protective tubes. They are also used in plastic-aluminum composite or in light water pipes. For example, they are then made of polyamide. In the family house area, rainwater drop pipes and sewage pipes are often fastened with the light plastic pipe clamps. They are closed with a snap-on cap or with a screw. However, the traditional pipe clamps of rainwater drop pipes are made of the two halves, which are connected by a hinge and usually these are made of galvanized sheet metal. A coarse square nail is riveted in the middle of the back and this is then beaten in wood or masonry. The easy-to-handle and tool-free eyebolt can screw the rear and the front tab together.
